Tonight I'll start illustrating Paris Fashion week A/W 2013 for SHOWSTUDIO.  A nine day project where I'll cover 2 to 3 shows a day. I am so excited I can barely contain myself, I love a good challenge!

Every year when winter bites me with her teeth or lashes with her tail and everything turns white.. I feel myself getting more serious

I get a little more quiet, like a grumpy bear I hibernate my serious thoughts, trying to see what lies ahead. Finally giving up my restless thoughts for a winter retreat, a moment of rest ...I laugh and I savor my bad mood.

Style is something integral, it’s something that’s you, it’s part of your psyche. 

You have to study yourself, learn who you are, learn what you really like, what you don’t like, what you’re comfortable with, how you feel, how people react to what you wear, and how much it bothers you if they don’t like it. 

It’s all of those things. 

And I think that that requires some hard work that a lot of people don’t wanna do, but if you don’t do that, you can copy somebody else’s style, but it won’t be yours. 

It ain’t what you do, it’s the way that you do it.

I think that most of the women when they dress in the morning, they try to be someone else…Today there is too much retouching, and I don't like it.

It is amazing what hours of sketching can do for my mood. I am sure that the lines I draw with my graphite pencil are going to save me years of worry lines in the 

future.

A little bad taste is like a nice splash of paprika. 

We all need a splash of bad taste—it’s hearty, it’s healthy, it’s physical.

 I think we could use more of it. 

No taste is what I’m against.
